October Fog Fest

Looking out my window the past few days, fog has been blanketing the area to a greater or lesser degree.  Some people I've spoken with have had the attitude "Well, there's nothing we can do about it", but to me, it's a lovely chance to enjoy this pearly luminescence that we don't get to see on a regular basis.  The fog horn calling in the distance is a reminder to slow down, relax, sit back and enjoy!

Autumn Sunshine

Seems like this year as soon as fall hit in late September we have had green rainy days back to back to back ... with some really stormy ones thrown in for good measure.  However, today has been a lovely sunny day with blue skies and a balmy breeze.  Today happens to be my Sunday, and my niece's birthday, so all in all it's a good day to be alive!
