We've had a bunch of wet days in a row ... some of them VERY wet at times, so garden work has been moving along either very very slowly or on some days not at all.
I do have a second planter with herb pockets set up now, with the addition of parsley, sage, thyme (rosemary is already in the first one!) and topped off with a buttercup lettuce, as I couldn't find more herbs I wanted at the time.
Hopefully Saturday is a half-decent day and I can get more work done outside. Go figure that I took two days off this weekend, so I had a four-day weekend, and it was rainy rainy rainy.
But at least we did get out to the archery range twice, on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and spent about 2 hours each day doing archery practice. On Monday the Archery Club was meeting, so there were 28 of us knocking and loosing (made it a bit crowded, but nice to see such interest!), then the next day there were two older gentlemen there before us, who provided us with an orange sticker of a turkey head to stick to the target and give us something specific to aim for, then later a family of four showed up (two small kids) with all of them doing archery, even the little wee girl.
I actually damaged the fletching on one of my arrows, so I'm down one ... but I did also hit the turkey in the nose so I would have killed it!
